As early as 2018, the Blockchain Developer profession had already been highlighted by LinkedIn as the fastest growing job, registering as much as 33 times the requests of the previous year! One aspect that many analysts have dwelt on is the unexpected and incredibly rapid exploit that the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry had in just one year: in 2017, in fact, Blockchain was not even included among the top 20 emerging jobs!
Among the most sought-after blockchain topics, the first place goes to Ethereum, which in 2018 was at the center of this boom of interest for blockchain development. Among the top skills required, according to LinkedIn's analysis, the first is Solidity, the most used programming language for Ethereum's smart contracts, followed by generic blockchain skills, Ethereum and more specific skills such as Cryptovalue and Node.js, an open source platform for JavaScript.
The professional figures related to the world of Blockchain are different and are not just for computermaniacs, don't worry! The more technical jobs include the following figures: Blockchain Information Security Analyst, Blockchain Data Scientist, Blockchain Developer, while the non-technical sphere sees positions such as Blockchain Marketing Specialist, Blockchain Project Manager, Technical Recruiter.
