Course IoT and Industrial IoT | CYBER SECURITY duration Weekend

Scenario
Internet of Things (IoT)
and Industrial IoT (IIoT) are becoming two very important areas in the ICT world. IoT and IIoT solutions are characterized by a wide variety of components ranging from sensors to Big Data, passing through the networks that interconnect various elements. New design requirements have led to the definition and use of specific protocols that must be integrated with the already registered ones. In this context, the need for harmonization and a comprehensive overview in the design of IoT / IIoT solutions requires transversal knowledge. This requirement is even more evident in IIoT solutions, which include devices and protocols typical of the Operational Technology (OT) area.

Basic module
Course objective: to transfer participants basic technical knowledge in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial IoT (IIoT) or IoT applied to industrial areas. The course provides knowledge about the components of an IoT solution, their functions and on the protocols used for interconnections. Specific security issues in IoT and IIoT areas are also examined. During the course, examples of final applications and general methodologies for designing IIoT solutions are provided.

Specialization module - During the interview, more details of the individual teaching units will be provided.

The minimum requirements to join the program are: basic knowledge of the TCP / IP protocol suite and of telecommunication architectures.

At the end of this course participants will able to understand the components, the protocols, the design and analysis problems of IoT / IIoT solutions.

Minimum basic equipment
Dual core 64-bit on x86-64 CPU
RAM 8gb (4GB for O.S. + 4gb for V.M.)
