Stefano graduated in Theoretical Physics with a Complex Systems and Statistical Mechanics specialization at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’.
He also accomplished a PhD in Mathematical Methods for Economic-Financial Applications between the Faculty of Economics ‘La Sapienza’ and Columbia University in New York. Stefano worked also as a researcher at the Department of Economics and Finance of the LUISS University in Rome.
In his research, he examined in depth Operations Research, Optimization and Statistical Learning. Over the years, he has taught Mathematics, Probability, Statistics, and Stochastic Processes to Master of Science and Specialist students of the LUISS University in Rome.
He currently holds the role of Data Science Expert Consultant at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Italy, where he deals with Industrial IoT, contributing, also as a developer, to the construction of monitoring systems for industrial systems based on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Among other topics, he is also specialized in Forecasting methods for Time Series, Pattern Recognition, Smart Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance.
