Question: Enrico, why did you choose to specialize in Cybersecurity?
Answer: The decision to specialize in Cybersecurity was mainly inspired by two computer engineer friends. Their passion and detailed explanations of this field sparked my interest. Another decisive factor was a great friend of my father's, an organizer of international cultural events, also in the technological field, who strongly encouraged me to follow this path.
Question: What convinced you to select this specific course of study, the Master in Cybersecurity & Cloud Specialist at Geek Academy?
Answer: My choice was driven by curiosity and, above all, the innovativeness of the course. Worth to mention, It was the very first Cybersecurity training course open to everybody launched in 2016 in Italy. In addition to that it is a 12-month part-time multi-specialization course that includes 6 international certifications. The wide range of modules building the whole curricula of the Master in Cybersecurity & Cloud Specialist, include: Ethical Hacking, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Security Analyst, Blockchain, Cloud Computing and Information Security Management.
Moreover the fact that the Faculty is made of professionals working in the field, consolidated my choice, making me confident that this course was ideal for my professional aspirations. In conclusion I can definitely say that it is a unique pathway in the panorama of Higher Education in Europe.
Question: What is your professional dream and how do you think your course of study can help you achieve it?
Answer: My ultimate goal is to become an Ethical Hacker. I am aware that this course offers a variety of specializations that I can explore, such as security analysis or penetration testing. The flexibility of the course allows me to remain open to new possibilities in the field of cyber security, allowing me to adapt my studies to the areas that pique my interest as I progress through the course.
